Default Loudmouth ? :)

I know you guys have gotten HUNDREDS of questions about the LM exhaust and rasp issues, etc. I did a search but with no luck. I LOVE the sound of a LOUD exhaust. My car is currently getting a new tranny put in and I am paying $250 for a LM installed!!! I really don't think I will have an issue with the exhaust due to my love of EXTREMELY LOUD, but if I do I will be looking for something that will eliminate the rasp/drone w/o eliminating dB's. Any suggestions? I like the idea of a dynomax bullet, but I am scared I will also lose volume. Thanks in advance.

I have the Loudmouth and Pacesetter LTs with ORY and love. When I first got the loudmouth with just stock manifolds I thought it was pretty loud and wondered if I made the right decision. It wasnt long after that though that I wanted it louder. I then got the headers installed and completly fell in love with it all over again and havent looked back since. I have had the same setup now for about 6 mnths or so. I have gotten nothing but positive feedback on it since. If you like loud then get the Loudmouth!

Keep in mind that I DO NOT want to lower the dB level......just eliminate any rasp (if I even have an issue with it). If I can't eliminate rasp/drone without sacrificing dB's, then I'll deal with the rasp. Thanks

I don't think your going to kill the rasp with sacrificing some DB's I'd say sweet thunder in place on the resonater. This muffler has a deep unique sound. Kind of like dynomax superturbo muffler but sweet thunder are a straight through design. JMO though.

Did you mean WITHOUT sacrificing dB's?

yeah thats what he meant. but i promise u putting a pair of high flow cats will do a hell of a lot better job than a bullet muffler. with cats, u will still have that mean loudmouth growl, without the annoying raspy noise.

I am running SLP LT with off roads and loudmouth. I ended up ordering a borla that mounts where the resonator was and it still sounds great. It just toned it down at idle.

I've got LT, ORY and the Loudmouth and it sounds great except for the rasp. But at WOT, you can't beat it. It sounds great IMO.
