Default KOOKS or QTP's

I am deciding on getting KOOKS or QTP'S Headers, but when it ask on the order form if I want headers with-Air/EGR Fittings should I get it or not. Will it make a difference with them or without them. Also I just got the TSP True Duals for my 99 SS. Which headers sound great with the duals and which ones match up such as the piping and all the KOOKS or the QTP'S.

Depends on the emissions in your state, if emissions are not a concern for you then get rid of them. It will get rid of some weight and clutter by your engine. Performance wise it will not make a big difference maybe a couple hp.

grammer and punctuation much?? i know its the 'net but damn......

Kooks and QTP's are basically the same thing, they're both excellent quality and you shouldn't have a problem with either one. emissions is a whole nother story, but you won't pass either way w/o cats and the true duals, so i'd get rid of them.

I would say get which ever you can get the best deal on. These are 2 of the best headers for our cars. I went with Kook's and their customers service is great. They really took care of my needs. I think there is a Group Purchase on Kook's right now maybe you can save a little $$$.

I'm trying to make the same decision (getting Kooks or QTP headers only, no y-pipe since I'm getting duals). I can't decide on brand, size, or whether I want HVC. Decisions, decisions.

I have a friend who has QTP Headers and catted Y. I have Kooks SS with the ORY. I know the cats change things a bit but that QTP y-pipe came in about 10000 pieces. My kooks y came in two pieces. The quality on both is awesome. Mine slid right in and so did his. I say go with the one running the best deal and enjoy.
