I don't have any base numbers when my car was stock. With my magnaflow c/b, slp airlid, and converter i put down 286-312. When i installed QTP long tubes and ory my numbers jumped up to 310-343 with no tuning. Both of these numbers where at the same place and dyno.

are you sure you only put down 286? that sounds way low to me with a catback and lid. I put down 334/355 with magnaflow, MTI lid, FRA, HiFlow Filter! And mine is a 98 A4.

Dyno's put out different ratings. You can't tell me that a car with the same engine and same mods differ 20-30hp. I would say your numbers are too high and IMO are not beleivable for a 98 a4 with c/b and lid.

My rwhp is low due to the higher stall torque converter.

From what I have read from different Forums, it seems that gains from cat-backs and Lt's are about the same. The difference seems to be with different dyno's and different cars.

Yea i suppose the general consensus is that a higher stall converter will take around 10-20 rwhp. Depends on effeciency and other things i don't know about.

I myself expected higher numbers but the shop it was dynoed at said it was fairly good. A very reputable shop here in TX. (RPMotorsports)

You really think that a magnaflow c/b, tb bypass and a k&n added 24rwhp - 22rwtq?
