i have 02 LS1 z28, im looking to get a good exhaust for cheap. i will be going with headers later but for now i just dont want to sound stock. i was thinking maybe buying a offroad y pipe and some type of bullet muffler (maybe the borla xr1 3in and 3 out or dynomax bullet) and thats about it. i dont want to spend much but want a nice sounding exhaust.
what should i go with other than a cut out (i really dont like them).
any help will be appreciated.

If your getting headers wait and get the ory then. ory to mainifolds is differant than lts ory. save a little money and get a cat back. I got my hooker for 315$ shiped sounds badass with lts and ory. just my .02

yeah if you are looking to save money dont waste it getting a new y-pipe just yet. when you get headers you are going to ditch it anyway. if you dont have emissions you could always gut your cats, and buy a used catback from the board.

git ur self tsp rumbler for $270, sounds friggin sweet tooo. and later on screw the ory, get a x-pipe and run true duals..
