Angry LS6 Intake Swap causes oil Consumption

Never had a oil consumption problem on my 2000 LS1 when stock. Did the LS1 to LS6 Intake swap as well as the PVC Swap and now I suck massive amounts of oil whenever engine goes above 3200 to 3500 rpm in any gear. Anybody have an Idea what I might have done wrong to cause this issue. The engine is burning a quart of oil every 500 miles !!!

Actually had the install and swap done by a local shop. I am getting ready to pull the intake tomorrow and wonder if there is anything specific I should be looking for. I have the howto from LS1howto as a reference.
