Default Corvette exhaust on a Camaro.... can it work?

I have a 2000 SS. I am absolutely in love with the c5 Corsa Pace exhaust. I know of a local for sale and a few others for about the price I would pay for a new catback.

I realize I would need a custom H pipe of some sort and then dual back to the muffs but if I can knock that out... will it work!? I also have a CME now so the tips would line up as well with a little change.

Thanks in advance.

Brandon

not it won't work....the corvettes exhaust is arranged horrizontally at the rear of the car...there is no spot on an f-body to do this...just get the corsa that is made for the f-body im sure you won't be dissapointed

Thats not what I wanted to hear...

I dont think I like a single exhaust out for the Camaro. All have a totally different tone than the Corsa Pace for the Vette. Guess I'll just have to deal with it

Just went outside to look at my buddies STOCK Z28. The stock muffler is monsterous... why couldnt the 2 smaller corsa mufflers rest directly in place of the stock muffler? Looks like it would work to me. The piping ould have to be modified but :dunno:

I'm sure my SS is the same under there.

if you were thinking about moddifing everything you might be able to find some corsa mufflers and just fab up a true dual system...or you can try cutting up a corvette one...i personall have never heard an f-body sound even close to a vette...even though they have the same engine..

I'm pretty sure it can work, but will need a lot of modifications to the system to make it fit. You'll probably also have to get the BMR upper/lower PHR for clearance. You could probably fab up your own dual system with mufflers of your choice for less money than buying the vette system and mutilating it to fit your F-body.
