The set screws that hold the shaft to the motor may have come loose or fallen out.

This happened to mine after about 4 months. You could hear the motor working but the blade wasn't turning. Just take it off and tighten up all the screws...sounds like that's the problem.

Do not take it apart. Give us a call. That is why we have a warranty on them.

I e-mailed QTP about one of mine coming loose and they gave me crap about not having enough clearence, even though there is a good 1" on all sides. Both are still loose and I'm hoping they don't fall apart.

the egine often moves around...the headers are attached to the engine and so is the whole exhaust system..1" might not be enough to clear those movements on the QTEC

Mine blew apart on the interstate a while back. The screws holding the motor onto the assembly worked their way out and I lost all the gears inside. The QTEC is useless now without rebuilding. Called QTP and they did not mention a warranty and wanted $30 to fix it.

LOL...my QTEC did the same thing. I was going down the interstate and I heard the parts slingin out and hitting the floorpan.

As I said, there is plenty of clearence, the pipe doesn't even move 1/2" when under load. One side goes down, away from hitting anything and there are no sings of hitting on the other.
