I know it may sound like a stupid question, but if someone could give me a straight answer without stupid comments it'd be nice.

Are the manifold's on the LS1 symmetrical? As in if the right one was put on the left side (I know, it would point toward the front) would line up just as it does on the correct side?

the ports would line up, but you would have trouble with the bolt holes. the middle two atleast.

I would think they would be fine. Given there isn't a left or right head.

Edit: I just checked both manifolds on one head and everything lines up fine.
