Default LS6 intake install

Are there any gaskets or anything extra required for LS6 intake install? also what kind of gains do you normally see? I'm considering a dyno tune after my exhaust/ls6 or maybe a mail order tune.(i thought i saw like 9 rwhp as the average)

all gaskets needed come already fitted on the intake, going off your sig i'd say ~10rwhp. more so with h/c.

When I bought my intake from TSP, they told me to just use a dremel tool on the bottom of my new intake and use my stock coolant lines, haven't done it yet but I think it will work, beats buying new coolant lines.

Are the plugs you are talking about the one's that go in the back of the valve covers. After posting this morning I went and looked at the stock coolant lines versus the dremel and intake, will take alot of extra work, so what is the part number needed for the coolant lines (two I am guessing) for the LS6. Thanks Sometimes the cheepest way is not the best way grasshopper.

They gave me the same advice, but I was not about to go to town on my $300 intake with a dremel. I ended up just waiting for the backorder to end, and ordered the coolant lines/plugs.

Just order the coolant lines, they are only like $30 for the pair from the Dealer.
