Replacement cats for FLP LT headers
I bought a pair of FLP headers for an F-body a few years back and now the cats that came with the headers have blown.
I looked on the Finish Line Performance web page -------->
...and it does not appear that they sell these anymore.
Any ideas on replacement cats - the original cats have two large lips at both ends (NOT dounut connections) that connect to the header collector and y-pipe using two large clamps that are tightned with a single nut and bolt? The intake side of the cat is 3 inch and the exhaust side of the cat is 2.75 inches I beleive.

For your needs (the emissions saga), I would say to get a
pair of "stock replacement" cats, big fat long ones, build a
pair of welding jigs that properly hold the ends of your existing
cat-pipe segments, cut off the ends of the trashed cats and
weld the new ones in. Or, if you trust them to weld under the
car, let the exhaust be the jig at least for tack-up. This should
be straightforward for any decent muffler or welding shop, the
"stock replacement" cats should be way, way cheaper than
aftermarket performance ones (probably enough so, to pay for
the welding). Then you can keep an eye out for the FLP straight
pipe pieces, to use when you're not being butt-probed.
By stock replacement I don't mean, stock for Camaros. I mean,
the companies that make them have "generic" ones by size and
you should be able to get one that has a high conversion
effectiveness and matches "well enough" to your present
plumbing to throw a bead around it and have it bolt up solid.

You can buy the replacement cats that will fit your FLPs perfectly from Dynatech. Dynatech made the headers for FLP. Many of our sponsors sell Dynatech.

Wow - thanks Mr. G:
Do you know any particular vendor/sponsor ---------->
...who sells Dynotech replacement cats for FLP headers? I think I also may need a couple of those expensive C - clamps for the cats - that are also of doubious design.
Overall, I was not too happy about the FLPs - Asside fom not fitting properly, the coating is now chipping, the cats are ****, the clamps suck, etc..
After I replaced the trans mount with a poly unit most of the floor banging from the headers went away... So it is not all bad.
