Help with Exhaust Choice...
I am interested in upgrading from the stock exhaust setup I currently have. However, my car is a daily driver, so I don't want any of the rasp or drone when I'm driving around (especially on the highway). I was thinking of going with the Loudmouth II. I figure I should stay away from LTs and ORYs if I want to keep the drone and rasp out.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I even bother with a new exhaust set up and just install a cutout?
Thanks

You'd think I pay attention when I read...so much for that.
It's not an SLP "stock" exhaust like on a SS is it?

If you aren't going to get LT headers and have no interest in running duals, get a decent catback (like Hooker or Magnaflow) that is fairly cheap (Hooker can be had for $280 IIRC). Then if you want a little more performance, you could add a cutout in the I-pipe.

I just had the Magnalfow installed and I like it a lot. I got a great deal from Tbyrne but they were having a 10% discount and I do not know if that is still happening. It is stainless steel and for a muffler it is great. If you are not gonna change from the stock headers or cats then I would also suggest the Loud mouth, they have a resonator version and a new one.

How much is the Hooker selling for now vs. the Magnaflow? I'm thinking the stainless steel parts would be worth a few more pennies to me personally, and I doubt the Hooker flows better than the Magnaflow. I like both of these cat-backs, don't get me wrong.
