Default 90mm TB Bellows Option - Using Metal Exp./Flex 4" duct from Home Depot

When I took off my FAST 90mm TB recently, I had a segment of metal, expandable, flexible dryer duct (yes, the appliance) left over from my recent washer/dryer hookup. I looked at it and noticed it's 4" in diameter. Hmmmm......

I've driven to work with it on today and it works fine. I won't keep it on, but for anyone who needs an emergency fix, this can get you around for a little bit.

The 4" to 3.5" silicone bellows is the proper bellows, and that's what I'm sticking with.

I'll be rich!!!
As for the intake, I agree the gray is dull, but I'm not too worried about bling.

Oh, I just posted this up in case anyone was doing their swap and didn't have a 3.5" to 4" silicone bellows laying around (and they needed desperately to drive the car for whatever reason). Home Depot has plenty 4" duct.

Yes, one must slice a few cuts into both ends of the duct, so it could crimp down a bit on the MAF side, and expand on the TB side. The slices are well beyond the airway, and are located under the band clamps.
I really posted this up as a temporary bellows option. Please don't use this as your full time bellows.

I have asked several times what are people using to connect the 90mmTB to a 85mm MAF .

I know people are doing this and I am ready to install. I also plan to install the 90mm Billit ring from Nitro Daves. So how am I suppose to make all this stuff work?

Just get the correct silicone bellows and trim it down to the length you need.
You may need to experiment a bit, but it shouldn't be a huge deal.

I know it's temporary, but I'm curious whether you have tried WOT with that thing. Would it withstand the vacuum?

I thought about that last night.
It is the rigid kind, not the foil kind, so it does have some structural integrity to it. I have done WOT a few times, but again, I state, this thing is coming off tonight in favor of the proven silicone. I wouldn't use this thing to hotlap at the local drag strip, but for around town driving on a temporary basis, it seems ok.

That is what Tom the Roofer uses all the time on his race car...
