Default LS6 + dremel tool

I've read about some of you doing this on here so you wouldn't have to change the coolant lines. Just curious how hard it was to do, and opinions on whether it's a good idea or not to do. Thanks for the help.

I've heard it can be done. Just basically use the dremel to grind down the gills under the intake so the coolant line running from the back to the front will clear when the intake is bolted on. Just be sure not to make a hole through the bottom of the intake. It is easier to just get the new coolant line/plugs.

I did it with mine. I used the little cutting disks. It wasent too hard, but I had the be careful because those disks break easily, and if the rpms are too high the intake just melts. I thought it was pretty easy, after I figured those two things out took me about 20-30min tops. If I had to do it again it would be less time though.

Thanks for the advice. No problems of any sort after doing this and it fits good on the car too right? I appreciate the help.
