Default pulley is chipped...can i use it

there is a chip off of my pulley...the outer rim...it's maybe 3/4in long and it goes down near the grooves of the pulley...i'm wondering if it is still ok to run this pulley...i don't see why not, but i'd rather make sure before i screw something up

Is this a stock pulley? I had a buddy that had a thumb size chip out of the lip on his and its been fine, hasnt ruined any belts and its been like that for over a year now.
