Default volant cai

I just recieved my volant cai. It has a straight y connector going from the maf to the air cleaners. Is this normal or did I get a different model? Th e instructions said Corvette. Everything else looks the same.

BTW It also has an extra fitting coming off the y pipe. I haven't seen this for a vette. Wondering if I got the vette intake and not a firebird one. Thanks in advance.

No you got the right one..I used to have the volant..you ordered the one for the trans ams thats all...the other one you are refering to is the one for the camaro..well generally..you can use that one too..but I guess we have more room for our intake vs the camaro..Plus I think it works better..you will hear and feel the difference..goodluck
