Apparently that intake has been known to be susceptible to heat soak and doesn't perform as well as the LS6.

Also...you have Nitrous or N20, not NOS. You'll catch a lot of heat around here for that one.

ok buddy just let me say i appreciate the reply on the intake but lets get something straight right now, NOS stands for (N) nitrous (O) oxcide (S) system ok and considering in my sig. it show that i have a Nos 5117 kit
why did i type nos because its short for (N) nitrous (O) oxcide (S) system (alot to type) so honestly i can give a **** what anyone has to say cause i don't have a car with a fart cannon on the rear and don't pronounce it Nass or Naz so don't feed me bs and try to make me look like these stupid *** kids who watched the fast and the furious to much ok.

My car is making over 700RWHP now with the Weiand Intake. But I'm blown. My sig shows a dyno of 621 with a P-1SC head unit at 11psi. I have the D1 now and pushing almost 15psi, no new dyno numbers though.

The intake does get hot a little hot, but believe me the air is going so fast it has little time to heat up anymore. The intake only gets hot when it's sitting in traffic or at idle. When I'm on the road and pull over and feel the top, it's just warm. Also the fact I have mine ported to match my heads provides me power..

I like the intake..

Good luck.

you have ONE KILLER HUGGER SS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but i think the holley is an over weight p.o.s, imo

insteed of getting a 30lb intake that will gain 10rwhp
why not get a 2lb intake that will gain 10rwhp

just get the LS6.
