Default LT1 to LS1 catback

I have the opportunity to buy a borla adjustable catback exhaust for $300. It is for an LT1 car though. How big of a difference is there? Is it just different before it goes over the axle? And will the muffler/tailpipes all use the same hangers as an LS1? Because if all i have todo is have a exhaust shop fab up a pipe from my y-pipe to the over the axle portion of the LT1 kit, i will buy it for sure. Thanks.

What year LT1? 96-97 have basically IDENTICAL exhaust setups (from what I have seen). If that's the case, you should be good, if it's 93-95, they'll have to hack off the s-pipe that's attached to the back (if attached at all). That answer anything?
