Are you having missfire problems? How many miles on your car? Wires and "hot" coil for "performance" is pretty much old school ... they only need replacing on an LS1 if they are bad. Plugs maybe at 40-50k if they've never been changed - but a lot of guys go a lot higher than that.

If the engine is all stock, I would leave the stock plugs and spend the money else where.
Stock platnium plugs are good for about 100,000 miles.

most of them aren't. Upon replacement way before 100k miles most of them have lost the platinum disks.

Can you look at these and know this? Platinum plus dont show wear like regular plugs do, so how do you know when they are worn out?

The stock plugs have little disks of Platinum on the electrod. I took mine out at 6k miles and 4 of them lost the the disk. The gage was 50 on the ones with the disk, 70 on the ones without. Change the plugs and use anit-seaze when u put it back together. It is bad because the head is AL and the plug is not.

I have seen this a few times, but not on half the plugs in one engine. I would say most of the plugs I've changed have been over 90k.

Order them from Advance Auto Parts. Don't waste money on wires unless you have misfires or white chalky marks on them. I like my Taylor Thundervolts very well.
