Where to put cuout
I was wondering where on the y pipe do you put the cutout? Do you hack off some of the y pipe and put on the cutout or do you just add it on to the end? I plan on installing headers and y pipe myself. i was hoping to get the cutout on the y pipe before installation. So I need everything to fit in where I can do it. What do I do?

Most put it in the intermediate pipe below the rear passenger's seat...there's a small spot where the underside of the car goes up and leaves a perfect little spot for it. There's also a rubber cap under the carpet there where you can route the wiring if you're going w/ an electric one.

how does the cut out sound on a car that is pretty much stock? I don't want my TA to sound like a truck. Also what kind of gains do you see on a stock car?

as far as sound... loved mine! i put it in after my FLP kit and no cats made it LOUD!!!! sounded like a nascar. still does, after the H/C, its damn wicked open...... i gained 7rwhp before the H/C, and gained 20rwhp after the H/C.....
there alot of fun!
