TCS is the biggest waste 3 words I ever heard. I drove mine in winter just fine without it.

I did the same. Plus if you ever do you need to step on it, do you really want your foot being pushed off of the gas? And by winter are you saying you are going to be driving in snow or ice? good luck with that, traction control won't help you there.

I turn mine off most of the time driving. I didn't think I'd do this, but after having the car for awhile and it being a stick, the traction control pisses me off sometimes cause it kicks the pedal back at the slightest tire scratch and almost stalls the car.

I have no traction control. With an inch of snow my car spins tires at idle in drive. I can only get it to move in reverse, and even that is fairly difficult. Unless traction control can solve that problem it won't help.

i hate mine.
kills the feeling you become used to when sliding
in controlled turns.

i turn it off in 3 inches of snow.
i expect and am ready for spin and sliding, not
bogging and locking up...........

save the $$$$ for mods.
