Default Loudest Muffler for True Duals

i currently SLP LTs connnected to gutted cats and custom 3in xpipe and maganflow 4x9's was wondering what would be a louder alternative to the 4x9s the Borla XR1 round Mufflers, Sweet Thunder Mufflers, or Dynomax Bullets. also i have a slight sound of rasp coming from my set-up could that be coming from the gutted SLP cats.

What kind of X are you using...Is it homemade? Alot of homemade ones will still have rasp. I know the DR gas stuff I used killed all my rasp. Bullets will be the loudest for sure but they will have some rasp in them just as the Sweet Home alabamas or sweet thunders whatever they are called.

He's askin for sound didnt say performance, besides dual cutouts are excellent. Flowmasters sound great, but flow like crap.

ttt-you can also purchase SLP Loudmouth Resonators to put on as "Mufflers" but really its like straight pipes
THATS LOUD

While that is true that was not his question. He's looking for loud, in the mustang world, LT's ORH and Flowmaster 40 series is "the best sounding" and "the loudest" setup they have for the 5.0-thats where it is seen the most because many of us are against the performance aspect of Flowmaster. However, us f-body owners unlike many mustang owners I've encountered, enjoy CUT-OUTS! If this guy wants his car to sound amazing and loud get Flowmaster mufflers and send it out the back Then get some dual cutouts b4 the muffler and you have the LOUDEST it will get and still sound fairly good, a bit more refined that Open headers.

Quitest straight through design i would have to say is the Magnaflow. Then comes Borla XR-1, Corsa, Dynomax Bullets, and LM Resonator in that order

Add Edlebrocks to the list. I think they are too quiet. But they do sound damn good with no rasp and no drone.

Flo-Pro twisters fine refined true dual muscle car sound, ,My woman refers to it as a sexual experience, , just by listening to its rumble.

I'm guessing that the Flowmaster Outlaw race mufflers which are a bullet design would be the loudest. I've never heard them, but if their 1 chamber mini mufflers are as loud as people say, those bullet shaped Outlaws would be louder.

Single chambers are loud, but they sound very good. i don't have rasp, but at 80 mph there is a drone. Other than that one speed, they are perfect. I think when i go over the axle the drone will be eliminated. Click on the link for some of my sound clips.
