Air Lock ?
Hey all,
Just finished installing some gauges on the camaro, i have a very interesting problem. I took the coolant out to install the gauge, then refilled it, now i drove it around the block one time and the gauge read REALLY high... like 230, immediatlly shut off the car and popped the hood, no steam was present, and the hoses did not feel too hot ( as you see i use high tech testing devices), I opened the bleader on the pump and steam started to come out? i heard about this on American Hot Rod and the problem was an air lock in the system, do i have one of those / how do i get rid of it. Thank you very much
PS - I removed the stock water temperature module and put my after market one there, i was worried the fans would not know when to turn on, but they do the old module did not work accuratly anyway. thanks!
