Default oilpresure and headers

does headers cause the oil pressure to run a lil lower?

No...it has nothing to do with oil pressure.

I want to retract my last post...It will increase your oil pressure b/c after headers your foot will be in the gas more so when you're spinning higher RPM's your oil pump will be rotating faster and thus give a higher oil pressure

Looked at your old thread and I doubt it's the oil pressure sending unit (it's located behind your intake manifold on the top of the block). The only logical explanation is that hotter oil runs at a lower pressure so maybe the headers are heating up the oil in the pan. I wouldn't think so though b/c they would have to throw off a crapload of heat to have any significant heat convection through the air and conducted through the oil pan into your oil.

yeah i had it to a shop and they checked everything and they said everything is fine...its got to be cuz the headers are heating up so fast by oil pan
