I had the Loudmouth with Hooker LTs and a catted 3" Y-Pipe. It was loud. A friend of mine had the Loudmouth with Pacesetter LTs and a 3" ORY. It was extremely loud.
I would highly advise you to look into another exhaust if you're going to get LTs. The Loudmouth sounds great with stock manifolds, but once you add headers, be them with a catted or ORY, it sounds awful. Even if you have swapped the resonator for something else, I wouldn't recommend it.
But that's just my $.02.

Personally, i get nothing but compliments on the way my car sounds....YES its friggen loud and yes it's SOMEWHAT raspy but nowhere near as bad as it was with the resonator on it. It's very quiet at idle (surprisingly quiet actually), revs pretty smoothly and only gets any rasp to it when you really stand on it (and even then it's really nowhere near what people make it out to be)
I agree the sheer volume is too much for many people but EVERYONE who hears my car (including other LS1 owners not just random "non-car" type people who are awestruck by any loud car) comments on how mean it sounds. apparantly it can't be as shitty as everyone makes it out to be.
