Check the cruise control system, that's the only system that could cause the engine to rev if malfunctioned...if other than the throttle linkage between the pedal to the throttle body.

And make sure your floor mat isn't up far near the throttle pedal jamming it.

Check for air leaks. Replace the IAC. Where is the nitrous being injected at?

correction to midnight: cruise control is Not the only thing that will cause idle issues. As stated before, the iac valve (idle air control valve) will cause jumping, searching, constant reving, and stalling of the engine.

Well I know it wasn't a 'noid sticking becuase it did it with the valve closed, and I know it wasn't the cruise because it was still functioning correctly and I pulled the linkage for it on the throttle blade. I pulled the intake apart and cleaned the MAF, the IAC and the TPS with contact cleaner, then cleaned everything I could in the intake with carb cleaner. It seems to be ok so far but I haven't had the bawls to bring it to WOT yet I'll give it a shot tomorrow *crosses fingers*

Thanks everyone
