Question LS6 Intake question

I can buy a NIB LS6 intake (no egr) for $299. But...the intake requires a 90mm TB. It was advised to either buy a 90mm TB or fab a plate to fit the stock TB.

Question:

1) Is this worth buying for $299?

2) Where can I find a decent 90mm TB that is under $300?

3) Or should I just fab a plate? Don't know how to do this, so I would have to go to a machine shop. I know this may be cheaper but I will still only be using a 52mm vs. a 90mm. Will this defference create a problem with the intake?

I thought that the LS2 intake was the one that came with the 90mm TB.

Thanks for the reply. I got it taken care of. The guy neglected to say it was an LS2. Thanks anyways.

I've read somewhere (On this board I think...) that the LS6 actually flows better than the LS2. I could be wrong though.
