am saving up $$$ for either a cam or headers which should i get first

Headers for sure. A cam loves to breathe air in and out. Then once the car is breathing right for sure a cam. On stock manifolds even a good cam will not see much in gains.

qtp or kooks right i heard they are good

Definately headers first, you can't go wrong with either QTP's of Kooks.

Get 1 3/4.......you don't need 1 7/8......Y pipe is personal choice weather you want a catted or ORY... A cam that can't breath is not going to get you the numbers you are looking for at all.

Another vote for headers. If you run an aftermarket cam with the stock manifolds, the gains will be very similar to the gains you would get from a good set of headers.
