Default CAM and 3" Exhaust?

I will be doing a "california cam" in a few months, and the only exhaust mod I have is a magnaflow muffler(not catback). I will be doing shorty headers in the future, not longtubes. Will I benefit with a 3 inch Y-pipe and I-pipe at these power levels, or should I just save my money and leave the stock Y and I pipes on.

here's a test i did comparing the borla w/small plate vs bassani tru-duals. the bassani is quieter inside the car. no high pitch. all mellow tones. and if it's still not quiet enough you can now get baffle tip inserts. why get a 3" single when you can get 2.5" duals? makes more power. (inserting opinon here) and sounds better. and here's sound clips of both on same car same day.
borla
bassani
