Default Are Stainless Steel Headers Impervious to Water?

I currently have coated Pacesetter headers and thought I could get through the winter without driving the car in the rain, but this hasn't happened. My Pacesetters are getting a beating and the coating is starting to deteriorate. My question is, is there any chance of stainless steel headers getting damaged by the rain? I would like to get some QTP's in the future. Thanks.

depends on the quality of the stainless steel...however, i don't think the qtp's nor the kooks will deteriate with water...they will outlast your car...

my kooks got a nice golden hue to them. but they don't even blink in the rain, even in the messed up texas weather.

They call them stainless for a reason...
Even the 409 stainless I had on my old car held up for 5 year before I sold it.
The 304 stainless is even better. Polishes up nicer too.
