I Know there is a piece of engine block in the way, that keeps the header from going in easier..its like a little square tit on the drivers side, some people cut it....its just a moulding. You should do it with some help though,or it will try your patience.I think my buddy loosend a motor mount instead of cutting.I'm not a pro...but I do know the headers are not real fun

i put my car on a drive on lift, took my sweet time, and got it done in 4 hours. they're not too bad if you can get decent clearance. i didn't have to modify anything to get my kooks 1 3/4 to fit.

Took me 9.5 hours though. Hope you need an oil change, cause removing the oil filter and drain plug helps A LOT. For the driver side, make sure you get the car up real high...higher...a little more...good. If at first you don't succeed, drink a few cold ones and try again. The Kook's are a great design and didn't require any k-member grinding or anything for me.

These headers FALL in,easiest I've ever done.Get the car on a lift and stand the headers straight up and down, they will wiggle in only one way,I never even removed the oil filter.Money well spent.
