Default headers and y -pipe?

i have a 98 camaro SS with a mufflex 4inch with flowmaster. i'm planning on gettting the 4inch y- pipe from mufflex to go with it. they say the y pipe is for hooker headers buti hear the jet hot headers are the same thing with thicker tubes, thicker flanges, better location for O2's and a better coating. Will the jet hot's work with the mufflex y? Are the jet hot's stainless? does any one else offer a 4 inch y pipe i could use? were would be a good place to get the jet hot's?
