Default Got my Hooker coated LT's and TSP y-pipe

Finally got my headers and my y-pipe. I guess did enough research on this to install them but maybe I'll get help. My Q is do I put the RTV gasket stuff on the gasket and teh headers? They are GM gaskets by the way? anything else I should know? Any tips on installing, I did read the Ls1 sounds website tips as well. Thanks

you can do that. I just threw some pace setters on for a friend of mine. and just ran the gaskets on and no sealant and it runs fine with no exhaust leaks..

I would suggest it though.

pretty much all the write ups for the install say it all. Should only be an hour and a half or two hours for ya. Good luck, and remember to stay patient when installing them... you get angry or frustrated and it will only slow you down.

no extra gasket sealant is needed.
