Question ASP Pulley PROBLEM ! Belt is slipping ! HELP

I read that LS1s are notorious for having the tensioner cause a problem with the main belt. I installed an ASP crank pulley about 2 days ago and since I installed the pulley whenever I race my car the belt comes off its track and comes half off the tensioner and the power steering pulleys, but its still fine on the crank pulley. what is happening? The crank pulley rolls straight and smooth like it should but it causes the belt to slip towards the front of the car. Do i need a new tensioner ??? If yes do I also need a new tensioner pulley if my stock one is fine? Which tensioner should I get? I've heard about one from Lmperformance its a G2 Billet tensioner for $120.00 shipped and form Thunder Racing has one too for $129.99 Please help .. thanks
once again:
Q # 1 : Do I need a new tensioner ?
Q # 2 : Do I need a new tensioner pulley or the stock one is fine?
Q # 3 : Should I get a new belt too?
My car is a 00' Camaro SS M6

check the pulley, but if its seated properly, then look to the tensioner. if you read the description on TR's site about the Katech tensioner closely enough, I'm pretty sure it says you need to use your stock pulley. a new belt couldn't hurt if yours has been on there for a good long time.

My car threw two belts after my ASP pulley swap while trying to race on the interstate. I replaced the tensioner and it did not help. So while racing one night about 2:30 AM I threw a belt and could not find it so I went to a 24 hr. AutoZone and put a Goodyear Gatorback on and have not looked back, no problems at all! By the way my AC belt started squeaking about 6 months ago and I replaced it with a Gatorback to and no more squeak!

I will vouche for this as well, pulley runs straight and the belt would walk, picked up a gatorback, not one single problem! couldn't be more relieved....

Im a big GatorBack fan as well. But if its coming off you might want to use the next size belt down to make it alittle tighter.
It could have to much play in it.

yeah this are correct part numbers, I've installed my new KATECH tensioner and the Gatorback belt on friday and it runs great now no slipping, nothing ! I got my Katech tensioner from LMperformance for $120.00 shipped and Gatorback belt from my local Autozone for $24.99 I also used my stock tensioner pulley.
