Default Idle

After installing longtubes, my car has a slightly higher idle at times, beetween 1000-1200. After it warms up it goes back to normal. Is this normal, or is something up?

Yeah everything is fine with it, runs normal no problems since I installed them. My car has always had a high idle, even when it was stock it was a little under a 1000 rpms. I also know that our tachs are known to be off.
