Default what to go with

i have a 98 automatic z28 camaro and i am wanting to make the power and sound go up, the sound way up!!! and i am wondering what would go good in terms of headers and a Y-pipe with my flowmaster american thunder exhaust. i was thinking either flowtech or hooker headers and whatever offroad Y-pipe that came with them.

Ditch the flowcrapper cat-back. It's probably worth the money for a nice set of stainless kooks/QTP's.

I have used the Hooker Headers, Hooker ORP and Flomaster Catback. It sounded like ***. Plus, the headers busted a weld after 20 months. Needless to say, I bought better parts. I would save up for QTP Headers and get a decent catback. The Flowmaster is a cork and I gained 10rwhp by switch to Magnaflow. Check the Sponsor Section and there is usually good deals on Stainless Headers.

get rid of the flowmaster and kooks seem to be the best headers around.
