Default o2 sensors gone bad??

My SES light has been coming on for a few days at a time, and then shutting off. Regardless of whether the light is on or off, the car feels down on power and It smells like it is running very rich. Like to the point where I can smell it in the cabin when I get on the gas hard. It almost smells like raw fuel, but I have checked and there are no leaks anywhere. Could this be my o2 sensors, and if it is, will the power be noticeably better once they are replaced? Long winded I know, but all help is appreciated thx.

Have you replaced your front set of O2's with ones designed for the rear of a corvette? If not, I recommend doing that. That is almost certainly the problem. (02's) You can search to find others, but the bosch part number at autozone is 13111

Like others have said, and you predicted, its likely an o2 sensor. Mine was doing the same thing but has gotten to the point of staying on indefinately. Autozone will read your OBD-II codes for free.
