Default manual fan switch, do yourself questions

gonna buy the parts and try to do the manual fan switch mod here soon.

did everyone use resistors for the LED's?

what gauge wire did everyone run?

I'm using this write-up: http://users.oco.net/xero/fanmod/

thanks in advance for any tips or ideas

sounds better. I saw a different writeup where they were saying they used 14, and I believe that would be a little too big.

It is a ground wire, with a relay, so 18 gauge is fine. SLP uses like 20 or 22 in thier fan switch.

As long as your tapping into the H and J wires of the C100 connector, you'll be fine with that wire. All of the fan switches I sell, I use 18 gauge, The one on my personal car is 22 and has been there for a 2 years.
