Default single chamber under axle duals

Well, I thought it was about time to run my duals out the back. At first i had them dumped under the car but I decided to see how it would affect the overall sound if ran out the back. I must say, that it is far quieter inside the car, but some of the drone is still there. I have an A4 so that may account for some of it. The sound was deepened at idle and sounds awesome wot, but when you are cruising along and mash down on it just enough to make the car jump, it kind of sounds splatty.I have only had this since wednesday and am still getting used to it. Going from dumps to out the back is a big difference. As far as the tips, I am still undecided as of yet. Those are some tips the exhaust man had laying around and they looked decent. Input on different style tips would be appreciated. I will have some sound clips tomorrow, I will give them to chad @ ls1sounds. I will try to get an idle, cruising, slight throttle, and a wot video. Here are some pics for now.

looks good. what inch pipe are you using to go under the axle and how is the drivability with scraping? I have been thinking of going to a full dual as my are dumped but i do love the rumble but dislike not having tips out the back

it looks like the driverside pipe i closer to the ouside of the car than the passenger side is, maby you could put a piece of pipe in there and do a little "convincing"

i was thinking about doing sort of the same thing with my TSP duals, but i want to have where your cuouts are LOL

i either want to run them out the back, or i want to leave them dumped and run some cats. or maby both, i dont know yet. all i know is they are way too loud with the dumped bullets

The pipe was "convinced" right after i took the pics. So they are dead on now. I do have sound clips and will try to get them up asap.

I'm jealous of the duals, but IMHO I'm not big on those tips. I like oval tips, but those look too small. The gmmg tips look great. I also like the look of the polished/chrome stock Z28 tips.

LS1 Sounds: I'll try my best to get them to you tomorrow. I tried today but for some reason, you send it wouldn't allow me to get the file to you. Glad to help you out jrp. I think that I will run tips similar to the gmmg's and when I put them on, I will also have three bolt flanges put on the ends of the mufflers so that I can go back to a dumped setup when I want.
