Default k&n

is that k&n intake system really all its cracked up to be? i mean it does seem pretty ******* expensive. does anyone out there have one? i want to get a new intake and i'm debating over the k&n and the slp intake. so a little input is much appreciated.

personally, i think they look horrible, and i've read that it causes turbulence....how true that is i really dunno. Stick with the lid....cheaper and tried and true.

Go w/ the lid. Works like it's suppose 2 and it's cheaper than the K&N!

lol....anybody remember Cory Morgan? aka CT Morgan on this board. had a badass car(FASTech 370 and lots of n2o) and ran a FIPK. he ran low 10s? can't be that bad

i run one too, but its cuz i like how they look. they work as well as any lid IMHO.

There's probably not a big performance difference between the FIPK and any of the lids. I would get the cheapest one that looks the best. I am of course partial to the SLP.
