need a new battery Zup guys not sure if I should post this here but I need a new battery for my 2001 SS. What batteries do u guys recommend? I need the best of the best!Thanx!

Also the red top is lighter and smaller then the yellow. The yellow top has more capacity and is more for stereo applications.

Red Top OPTIMA ......spiral cell technology is the only way to go....mount it upside-down if you want to!!!!

the reed top has more cranking amps and is what i use. the yellow top is good if you like to leave your stereo on when hanging out cause the battery can die but will leave enough juice so that you can crank your car back up and thus recharge the battery

How much is the Optima? My Autolite has been fine and it's guaranteed for a few years.

if you dont want to pay that much for a battery, go for a die hard gold, has a 5 year free replacement. its about $75
