Default Whats the best header to get?

Im gettin a a 3" custom exhaust put on my 98 z28. I also want headers and new catalytic converters. What r the best brands for these? hooker, slp, heddmen, etc.

I run Kooks, and they kick ***. If you can afford it, definitely get stainless steel.

Kooks here, but you'll hear arguments for both those and QTPs. You can't go wrong with either. Do be prepared to play O2 sensor games though...there are tradeoffs to everything we do with these cars. Okay, I'll step off my soap box now.

well I just put my pacesetters in this weekend. they were extremely easy to put in. and you can't beat the price.

thanks, suppose i get the kooks lt headers and true dual exhaust. What other stuff will i need for the installation. I know catalytic converters but im not sure which is the best brand, and i plan on getting borla xr-1 mufflers i heard they were good. w

If your not in a emissions state dont use cats .

Go to www.ls1sounds.com and hear them for yourself instead of hearing from some 1 else , borla sounds like crap imo ( no offense borla guys )

kooks/qtp if u want best performance, hooker/pacesetter are mid range, still very good headers. pick your poison, cost varies 200 +/-.

u guys wouldnt happen to know if delaware is an emissions state?
