Default Pacesetter ORY Pipe

i recently installed pacesetter headers and y pipe on my 98 firebird. The y pipe was rubbing but i had to take it to an exhaust shop to put a muffler on it any way and told them to fix the y pipe while they were at it. After looking at it he told me theres about no way to fix it. what do i do to stop it from rubbing?

it's rubbing on the brace that runs from the tailshaft of the tranny to the rear end.

It rubs or it bangs? I get bangning from mine, need to notch the cross member, but it doesn't actually rub against anything..

it is solid mounted but not to said crossmember. and your right technically it doesn't actually touch the crossmember so it bangs.
