Route the wire into the cabin by removing the right rear bottom seat cushion, you'll see a grommet there. I used the black wire off the cig lighter for ground, and extended the power wire and connected it to my radio fuse. You can also get power from the pink wire behind the traction control switch.

does the QTP cutouts usually come with wiring long enough to go up thru the seat drain plug, into the armrest? then up to behind the TCS switch for power from the pink wire?

There's plenty of wire to mount the switch anywhere you want. I used a butt splice to extend the power lead off the switch so I could route it under the carpet to the radio fuse. Very easy install, and comes with a good set of instructions.

I routed mine through the shifter grommet.
