Question Cutout??

I havent got any yet but im looking hard into getting some electric cutouts. Will running cutouts open all the time hurt my motor??

nope. just be sure you weld it a fair ways down the i pipe, and you'll be set to go. watch out for the 5-0 if youre ever in PA though, they dont like cutouts.

I wouldn't say it would hurt if you run it all the time but I would make sure I closed the cut outs once you turn the car off. You don't want cold air running up in there all the time.

Question

u guys recommend dual cutouts on the y pipe or single on the i? Dual's would give me more power right?

I havent closed my cut out in like 6 months and I havent had a problem yet. True it dosent get real cold out here, maybe like 40ish but unless you live in alaska I dont think you would have any problems with cold air bending the valves.

So you have a single cutout?? Exactly where do you put cutout/cutouts??

My exhaust is completely stock, I put the cut out right before the pipe bends up and over the axle.
