Default wow is my car loud!

so today i just finished up the mods new cam, torque converter, and LT headers to true duel strait 3" pipe to 2 bullet mufflers(if you can call them mufflers they look like 3" tubing lol) anyways i need to get it tuned cause it just dies if i am not giving it gas. but anyways is that thing loud! I already have complaints by the naibors if i do a H or X pipe will that quiet it down? if so how much? and is there a low restriction muffler out there thats kinda cheap that can quiet it down a little for the naibors =)

thanks

No, an X or H pipe will not quiet the car down and placate your neighbors. Cat converters or bullet mufflers with more sound cancellation will do that. (or both).

The H-pipe or X pipe will quiet it down a little but by not very much... Personally I love the sound... Sounds like a ******* Nascar! I get complaints from my Neigboors 2... But you know what they can **** off! There not the one makin the payments or have a passion for the Car! All I do is have respect for them... Like I don't go out like at 1 a.m to hang out and I dont Rev the car... and when I drive down the street just keep it under 2000 rpm. I get both complaints, and jockage... But I'll telll you one thing.... The Girls Love it! LOL no Joke.. N u get Mad respect from other cars who think there fast in their Porsche and Rice Rockets! They never want a Pieace when they hear you comin down a mile away!

A crossover will tame it a little bit. It will also make it sound much better and produce more power. Why do duals without a crossover? Get yourself an X-pipe!

Don't **** off your neighbors on purpose, revving for nothing. But if you're moving around around and it bothers them, **** em! Don't spend money or change your exhaust system on YOUR car for the pleasing of others. That's stupid! Make sure you do it for yourself.

Personally, I wish my car sounded like yours. I'd love it!

If you wanted to try some other mufflers, the 10 series flows will reduce the sound compared to the bullets. Just throwing that out there.
