Default What's on the second braket on driver side mainfold?

Did search and didn't find anything informative.

Swapping heads/cam/oil pump/lifters/injectors and almost finished tearing down the engine for the new parts. Car is a 2002 T/A M6 with the stock intake manifold.

There's a second braket further towards the firewall on the driver side wiring harness of the intake manifold right next to injector #5. It's a silver square gizmo with two thin tubes going into it from the back and a blue connector plug.

And while we're at it, what is the round thing attached to a bracket at the back of the manifold on that same side (actually, one of the thin tubes goes from the silver thing to the round thing)?

What are they?

OK. Maybe this will help someone identify this component.

That's a solenoid for the AIR system, it controls that small vacuum line to the bigger round thing in back. The round thing is a junction for the hose coming from the AIR pump, and the 2 hoses to each manifold - it probably opens/closes controlled by that vacuum line from the solenoid.
