Are your motor mounts in need of replacement?
That sucks! Time to notch that K-member.

there aint no sense in that **** .... there is plenty of room in our cars so that the headers not come close to touching anything

as for the question about the pace headers, they wont come close

Yeah I remember a post not too long ago about how crappy Pacesetter's were because someone had one bad experience.......made the Pacesetters look like cheap plastic toys and the Kooks and QTP's look like a million dollars. I guess the tables have turned Mine fit great without a single issue and the performance was top notch. Anyone can make a mistake, but I wouldn't judge any brand based off of one bad experience.

Notching the K-member was a given when Pacesetters 1st came out. They've since fixed them.

Granted, and like I said, I wouldn't judge any brand based on this. Any aftermarket part is bound to run into some kind of problem eventually, and it's great that the companies are fixing the problems. I still consider Kooks to be one of the best.......this is most likely an isolated incident. So long as we are flexible and willing to modify from time to time, we can always make it work.

I'd be one pissed off sob if that happened to me. I do understand that issues still arise, BUT I also remember Kooks pumping the fact that they test fitted their headers before they went out the door.

Yes, its been a while since I've read that anywhere, but still.

I would make a call and try to get some of my money back or a discount on a future sale or something. I would ask them to justify what you paid for. If you wanted headers that fit like **** you wouldnt have paid 1g for them. Who the hell is going to spend the time to pull them off and put on another set. Time=money Just my .02
