Default throttle body spacer???

i know litterally what they are, but what purpose do they serve? are they worth the money? can somebody just let me know. thanks

I think the idea is to increase the plenum volume so there is more air for the engine to draw from when there is a heavy draw (like punching the gas). Do they work? From what I know, not on these cars...

Good rule of thumb...if it is too good to be true, it prolly is.

i actually dyno tested one for a friend who was going to produce them. Needless to say he doenst make them. My car lost 2 rwhp, and 3rwtq. as stated, save your money

BUT it makes that cool little whisling sound!

Only purpose I've seen then useful on these cars is to plumb for a nitrous nozzle...

I was going to use this example. The only good thing, as someone mentioned, would be for nitrous. That's it.

there are AWSOME, in fact buy 2! and while your at it, get one of those electric
superchargers with the 8lb pulley and youll be FLYIN!!!! id say 450-475rwhp!

haha...i never said i was considering buying one...i was just on summit and got overwhelmed when i did a search for ls1. i just wasn't sure how they were "supposed to work".
