Should i get the 160 or 180 and/or the one by hypertech or slp

I would keep the stocker, and just buy the slp fan switch. IMHO, the 160 opens too early, and the 180 is too close to stock to tell and isn't worth the money. I've tried both by the way.

I have the HPP3 and have it come on at a lower temp is that ok?

I like the control of the slp fan switch, but if the programmer is keeping it cool then that is all that you should need. I like to keep my car around 180-195, where is the programmer keeping your car?

Yuuup my fan kicks in around the same temp as you and keeps it there

i like the 160 keeps the car really cold even on a hot day

Kens98TransAm i hope your not going to put that N20 kit on your car,cause ls1's dont like dry kits,LT1's do.for an ls1 go wet.i can even get you a good deal as well

its true ls1's prefer wet kits and its safer,where as lt1's prefer dry kits

i'll say that wet kits ARE safer, and are better than dry kits imho. but to say LS1's don't like dry kits is a little bit beyond that. dry kits work plenty fine too, for their intended purpose.
