whats the difference between glasspacks and reversed glasspacks, as far as sound and performance

reversed is a little louder not enough to really tell most times and lasts longer since the packing material won't get burned up as quick many muffler shops install them reversed for the reason of making them last longer. glass packs flow fairly well either way not enough difference to worry about.
